Fun-Start is a universal group, and is open to all families with a child under 5 years. Fun-Start runs 50 weeks a year on Thursday mornings 10-11.30 am, at St Nicholas Church Hall, Harwich. The group follows the ‘Big Hopes Big Futures’ programme, offering activities that stretch a child’s imagination, ability and creativity and encourages the development of new skills in readiness for school. A member of the ECFWS (Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service) attends weekly, providing support and promoting their extended services. Families attending can refer themselves for additional support if needed.
