Baby-Start is a group for parents or carers with a baby who is not yet independently mobile. The group offers opportunities for new parents to meet others with a child of a similar age. It provides an opportunity to socialise for both parent and baby and helps reduce isolation. Time to enjoy and learn with your baby. Visiting health professionals are invited to provide specific advice on subjects such as weaning, and sleep routines. Once the baby becomes mobile, the family will be signposted to a more appropriate group. Families attending can refer themselves for additional support if needed
